Gastronomy, Inc. is a progressive, locally owned and operated collection of restaurants. The priorities of this company are to deliver the highest possible quality in food and service to the guest, and to do so consistently. This organization has been successful because the owners and managers demand top performance from themselves and their employees. We feel that the people who work for Gastronomy are a cut above the rest and we are proud of our accomplishments. Many of our current management-level staff began with the company as hourly employees, and employees are encouraged by the partners to advance through the corporation.

With over three decades in the restaurant business and with 8 very successful operations, Gastronomy is still expanding. We are still trying new, innovative ideas and making them a reality. Overall, the basics still prevail - to deliver the highest quality in food and service to our guests.

We are always looking for energetic, motivated, self-starting individuals to join our team. We offer a comprehensive health insurance plan to all qualified employees. Applications are accepted at the front desk of all of our restaurant locations. For your convenience, you may download and print an application from this website and take it in with you or you may get an application at the front desk of the restaurant when you walk in. The best time to drop your application off is between 9 am and 11 am or between 2 pm and 4 pm. Generally during these times, a manager will be available to greet you.

We are also happy to accept your application at the reception desk of the corporate office, 48 W Market Street, Ste. 250, above the downtown Market Street Grill and Oyster Bar. Market Street is 350 S and is located between Main and West Temple. You will be supplied with contact information for the individual hiring managers in each restaurant. You must be able to prove your identity and legal right to work in the United States and have a social security card in your possession for tax purposes before applying, as we will need to see these documents upon hire. Replacement social security cards can be obtained at the Social Security Administration offices which are located at 175 East 400 South, Suite 500 or 348 East Winchester Avenue (6400 South).

Hours and days vary for all positions other than servers. Servers start by working 5 day shifts per week and will need to be available for Sunday brunch. Servers in the Grill downtown also work breakfast shifts and have to be available some days at 6 am.
