Private Rooms
The New Yorker offers three rooms for private dining:
Palm Court: Seating for 8 - 14
Little Apple: Seating for 8 - 16
Wine Cellar: Seating for 17 - 45
Availability
Private rooms are assigned according to the number of guaranteed guests. Fluctuations in the number in your party may result in a change of room assignment without prior notice, to best accommodate all parties.
Room Charge
A fee of $25.00 per room will be charged for parties up to 12 people. For parties of 13 or more, the charge will be $2 per person.
Menu Planning & Requirements
All menus must be set no less than 72 hours prior to scheduled function. To ensure the highest quality of food and service, menu requirements are as follows:
Parties of 16 or less: May order from the regular menu.
Parties of 17 - 30: Choice of three items per course.
Parties of 31 and over: Choice of one item per course.
We are also able to offer a selection of appetizers to welcome your guests upon arrival. Please refer to the menu for appetizer selections. In addition to menu prices & room charge, an 18% gratuity and applicable taxes will be added to the bill.
Deposit, Cancellation and Guarantee
A signed contract as well as a credit card number is required to guarantee your reservation upon booking.
Reservations must be cancelled 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled function. A $100 fee will be assessed to parties cancelled less than 72-hours before the event.
During the month of December, reservations must be cancelled two weeks before the scheduled function. A $100 fee will be assessed to parties in December cancelled less than two weeks prior before the event.
Final guarantee for number of guests attending is due 48 hours prior to function. You will be responsible for 80% of this final guarantee. Should less than 80% be in attendance, charges are as follows for those absent.
Lunch: $20.00 per person Dinner: $45.00 per person
Damage and Loss
The New Yorker does not assume responsibility for the damage or loss of any items left prior to or following your function. You will be responsible for the cost of loss or repairs and for any damages from actions of your guests.
Private Club Requirements
In compliance with the Utah State Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (UDABC), we require that a member of your party be a current New Yorker Club member. Please contact us for information regarding membership at (801) 363-0166.
We are governed by UDABC regulations. We are responsible for monitoring the consumption of all guests and reserve the right to terminate all bar services at any time.
